The really, really boring stuff

This is our least fun page. It’s kind of like travel insurance. Not the most elating topic, but we need it to cover our behinds.

Our Passion For Travel has lots of information. As much as we try, it’s not comprehensive. How can it be? We simply can’t stay everywhere, eat everywhere and see everything. Museums change their hours. Restaurants close down. And sometimes our notes are just a little messy that we even <gasp> get things wrong. Let us know if we do will you? We can fix that when that happens.

We also can’t know everything about you. Our taste might not be your taste. You may not be physically able to do some of the things we talk about. Or eat foods we suggest. Or there might be a hurricane when you choose to visit. Whatever the case, we won’t be held liable for any potential losses, injuries or damages you might incur by reading or acting upon the information provided. You’ll have to leave it to your own best judgement.

We are happy to work with brands and individuals who might want to use our copyrighted content. That’s ours to decide though, and we’d like you to get in contact with us directly if that is the case.

If you think our content is helpful or useful to your own readers, you are of course welcome to backlink to our site. That’d be grand.

Affiliate disclaimer

You’ll notice links on our site which direct you to accommodation, tours, products and travel services. In many instances, we receive a commission if you make a purchase via these sites. There is no additional cost to you. Zilch. Zero. Nada. The companies we work with pay us directly. We also don’t see your payment details – the third parties handle these under their own policies directly. They know we’ve sent you their way (in ways we’ll explain later on). These companies include the likes of Booking.com, Get Your Guide and Omio amongst others. These are companies that we use to book our travels ourselves too.

Regardless of the commission, our opinions remain our own. If we don’t like something, you can expect we’ll let you know. In fact based detail. If you’re in doubt in any, feel free to use the comments section to ask questions. We’re only as good as the information we provide.
